The Water Transmission Company, represented by Eng. Abdullah Al-Hejji, Executive Director of the Engineering and Project Management Sector, has signed an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Agreement in the water sector in collaboration with the Saudi Water Authority, represented by Eng. Tariq Al-ghaffari, Deputy President for Research and Promising Technologies. The signing was held during the fifth edition of the “Water Research Community,” hosted by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals at Dhahran Tech Valley.
The agreement aims to foster innovation and advance cutting-edge technologies in the water transmission sector, while enabling national talents and startups to actively contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring the sustainability of water supply. This initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to support research and development and to promote technological transformation across the water sector.
